Going through the #engaged tag.
Mine was perfect, there was no fancy restaurant, or candles or anything that was remotely different to a normal moment.
But it was perfect.
I have always wanted a story of how I got engaged, and I could tell people and they would say ‘awww’.
It was just me and him. Natural, easy, honest and just perfect, just the way I wanted it to be. I will always remember that moment.
Ok, it is nice to have everything that goes with it, but you don’t need it. It’s not what it is all about. If you love someone, none of the rest matters. You don’t need to put on a fancy show to prove that you love a person. If you do, then maybe you shouldn’t be proposing.
I am just in my happy place right now.
